Notion is an extremely powerful notes platform. The real power comes from the combination of relational fields, customizable views, and robust search.
Combine the inherent structure of Notion with our unique framework, and you’ve got one of the most powerful systems imaginable.

The Primary Notebook is where most notes are collected and sorted by Space and Tags. You can add one or more Spaces or Tags to each entry. The notebook is then sorted into tabbed views using filters. By default, the tabs are filtered by Space so that you can see all notes relative to a particular Space. These database views are also available inside each Space.
All database views have Star and Archive checkboxes.
- Starred move items to the top. Starred items are also displayed in the “starred” tab view
- Archive removes the item from active view. It can be accessed in the Archvie tab.
Databases are sorted to show the newsest notes at the top, underneath the starred items. Databases are filtered to show on items where archive is not checked.
There is an automation that sets the date of the note according to when the note was created. This date can then be updated later if you wish.
Other Notes
There are several other specific use case notes included in the Super Brain OS. The reason for separate databases are related to permissions. For instance…
There is a Client Notes database. This is connected to the Clients database. The reason for haivng it separate is so that you can more easily share notes with team members or contractors without exposing your full notes database.
There are also People Notes and Master Notes. People notes are connected to the people database, and have significantly fewer database fields. Master Notes will be covered later, but are used as a place to store your most important notes that summarize and consolidate information and ideas from other sources.
